A thermophilic bacteria Brevibacillus borstelensis strain cifa_chp40 was isolated form hot spring ,Odisha,India .The bacteria can grow wide range of temperature (20 oC to65 oC) wtih an optimum growth temperature of 50oCand also produces thermostable enzymes like amylase, protease, cellulase and lipase which may have some industrial application.
